Most booking software gets designed the usual way: a product team guesses what a riding business needs, ships it, and learns what is missing from support tickets a year later.
We built Equinimi the other way round. It was built and validated with working barns, through every booking, every cancellation and every camp-season scramble, worked out directly with the people running the barn.
That is the order of operations, not a tagline. The booking flow was built against a real waitlist. The day board was built against a real Tuesday. The automatic booking credit on a cancellation came from owners' real questions about their cash flow.
This platform was not designed for the equine industry from the outside. It was designed inside it.
Before writing a line of code, we looked at the live, public booking pages of equine operators in Canada.
Operators we checked in one province have nothing resembling real-time, self-serve booking. A phone number, an email address, an inactive widget or a paper form, and nothing else.
56% of the operators we sampled in another province run fully manual. Where one has put something online, it is almost always camp registration only.
This is what we found looking at a real slice of the market with our own eyes: the same booking-by-phone pattern on both sides of a provincial border, in English and in French. It is a sample of two provinces, not a count of the whole market.
The demand for a better system is already there. What was missing was a version these businesses could afford. A booking platform built for this kind of business has always cost a small fortune and most of a year. That gap is why Equinimi exists.
The clearest thing we heard was a plea for less complexity, not more features. If you can take a booking over the phone, you can run Equinimi.
Some of what we show is live today: real booking, real payments, a real day board replacing the paper binder. Some is a preview of what comes next. We never blur which is which.
French and English are not a toggle bolted onto an English product. The booking flow, confirmations and error messages work the same in both.
The walkthrough on this site is the real, working platform, not a slideshow.
