Most website projects for operations like yours start with a form and a template. Ours starts with a conversation, and it happens after you decide to work with us, not as a sales pitch beforehand.
Here's how we work, start to finish: once you're a client, we run a short, structured process, from learning your specialty and your ideal client, through design, through review, to the day your site actually goes live. This is one of three things that make working with us different. This page covers the whole journey; the other two planks live elsewhere on this site.
Here's exactly what that looks like, in six steps.
Before we ever get on a call, you get a short intake to work through on your own time: your logo files, any colours or fonts you already use, and your current photos sorted into what's usable now, what needs a touch-up, and what needs to be reshot. You also tell us, in your own words, what makes your operation different and who you actually want walking through the gate.
No open-ended "tell us about your brand" essay prompt. The questions are specific, because vague questions get vague answers.
After the intake, we get on one live working session with you. We don't open with "so, tell us about your brand." Instead, we show you real side-by-side options and ask which one actually looks like your barn: homepage framings, ways of leading with what you offer, visual directions pulled from what you sent us. You react, you correct us, you tell us when we've got it wrong.
One session. Not a week of workshops, not a redesign-from-scratch engagement: a focused conversation sized to fit inside getting your site built.
The booking and back-office system behind your site already works: it's one unified platform, already built, running real bookings and a real day-board today.
Because of that, we can often get you set up and working in it before your new public marketing site ever goes live, so you're not stuck waiting on a design process to start actually taking bookings.
Everything from your intake and the working session goes into one thing: a first real design of your site, built to look like your operation, not a generic template with your logo swapped in. It's built from the specific choices you made in the workshop: the framing you picked, the photos you sent, the story you told us.
You see this design before we build anything further. Nothing moves to the next step until you've actually looked at it.
A first design is never the last word. You go through it and tell us what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change: a section that doesn't read right, a photo that doesn't belong, something that's missing entirely. We make the changes and bring the design back to you.
This is a real round, not a one-line "any final thoughts?" email. You're allowed to be specific, and we'd rather you were.
Once the design round is settled, your site goes up on a private staging link: not a screenshot, not a PDF, the real pages, working, on whatever device you actually use. You review it the way your future customers eventually will, not the way a mockup asks you to imagine it.
Anything that still needs a fix at this stage gets fixed here, before your site goes anywhere public.
Once you've approved staging, your site goes live: real domain, real visitors, real bookings coming in. Nothing launches without your sign-off first; this step happens on your word, not ours.
From there, your site is live and working, and the same platform that runs your bookings and back office keeps running exactly as it did in staging.
A lot of what's sold to equine businesses in the U.S. market as a "custom website" is a template with your logo dropped in and a booking widget bolted on the side as a separate add-on. In our view, that's pricing and building for volume, not for one real conversation about your specialty or who you actually want walking through your gate.
We haven't run this exact process on a hundred ranches yet. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
You'd be one of the first, which means you get more direct attention while we're still getting it exactly right, not less. What we can tell you honestly, right now, is what this process is built to do, and why: a five-minute form doesn't tell us what makes your barn different, and neither does a template.
talk to a real person, see the platform itself, and ask us anything about how we'd run this process for your operation.
or look at what's live in the platform right now, before you talk to anyone at all.
